Douglas Blatt, better known as the "Buffasiandrummer" across all social media platforms, is a professional musician based in Austin, Texas, and has extensive performance experiences across the region as well as national and international appearances. Douglas is pursuing an undergraduate degree in Jazz Drum Set Performance at The University of Texas at Austin.

At the start of Douglas' professional career, he joined Indie-Rock band West 22nd, and Psychedelic Blues-Rock R&B band This Side of Grey. Douglas' drumming can be recognized on West 22nd's EP - All The Way Home (2023), Sleeping Alone (2024). Along with This Side of Grey's Sinking Love (2024).

Although he is early in his career, Douglas has made multiple appearances nationally and internationally. These include being an official artist at SXSW in 2023 and 2024, being featured on the New York Times Square Billboard, having over 1.5 million total streams on Spotify and Apple Music with West 22nd, having over 600,000 total social media views with Douglas' "Buffasiandrummer" brand image, and winning multiple first place awards at international drum competitions in Taiwan, Japan, Korea, and China.

Outside of his professional music career, Douglas is a competitive powerlifter in the 100 kilogram (220 pounds) weight class at the USA Powerlifting (USAPL) Federation. Douglas is the deadlift record holder in the 90 kilogram (198 pounds) class as a junior lifter, where he deadlifted 277.5 kilograms (611 pounds). Douglas also won the best male lifter award at the 2023 USAPL Horned Frog Collegiate Clash.
